It’s a natural look, that is soft on the face, and can look classic. For up-do’s, they will be lower, similar to the one Leighton Meister is rocking. You won’t be seeing any perfect curls or lots of hair spray, but you will still be seeing lots of small braids weaved into the style. But this summer, wearing our hair down will be all the rage! You want to go for one of the two looks. Either old Hollywood glam (like Megan Fox), or soft, sexy, slight curls (like Jessica Biel). You have to consider the style of your dress, your venue, and theme when choosing your hair style. But, with all three of there looks, you can’t go wrong. Makeup is one of the most important elements on you big day! The colors, amount, and products you use on your wedding will stay with your forever because it will be captured in every photo. The trick to looking fabulous without hating your pictures 10 years down the line is to go with a classic look, but a trendy twist. For 2012 the monochromatic look is very chic, which is great for brides, as long as you go neutral. There will be more focus on the lips and cheeks rather than the eyes, we won’t be seeing heavy eyeliner anywhere (accept on Jersey Shore). A personal favorite at Kismet is the classic Marilyn Monroe, each year you can switch it up depending on the tends, for example last year red lips were HUGE. These two beautiful arrangements were for an exquisite wedding at one of our favorite locations in Southern California; The Richard Nixon Library. It’s a great alternative to a hotel if you are looking for an indoor wedding. The color scheme was cream, gold and deep red. The arrangements include roses, cabbage, and hydrangeas as well as other flowers. Round arrangements are always a hit!
Wedding trends for 2012 will be largely inspired by Twilights Breaking Dawn! Everything from the ring to the ceremony. You will see many DIY enchanted forest themed weddings with elements from Breaking Dawn. Heres the scoop! Thats a steal!!! As for the ceremony you will be seeing many people do a forest-esqe themed wedding, a minimal version of Bella and Edward’s wedding. You will also see a lot of outdoor weddings, and couples getting married under trees.
